GASOLINU
$GASOLINU
GASOLINU is the first token approved by Long.xyz to pioneer a self-backing vault. The pool's swap fees flow into a contract that earns yield on the underlying asset — barrels of tokenized USO — and feeds it back into the token's own liquidity. The barrels behind every GASOLINU only grow; the vault decides for itself whether to compound them or buy the dog back.
Three moving parts, all of them contracts you can read on the explorer.
Every swap pays a fee to the pool's locked liquidity — 5% at launch, easing to 1.12%. 95% of that stream belongs to the vault; 5% goes to Long, the launchpad. Anyone can trigger the vault's claim, and the tokens can only ever land in the vault contract.
The vault hands its USO to an engine that places it in the deepest oil pool on the chain, USO/USDG, where it earns a cut of every oil trade. The position is full-range: no ranges to manage, no keeper, nothing to babysit.
When GASOLINU trades well above the barrels behind it, the engine compounds — fees go back into the oil position. When the token trades close to its backing, fees are stockpiled as barrels and used to buy GASOLINU back, which is then paired with USO as liquidity in the token's own pool. The status above says which it is doing today.
Source verified. Owned by the launch wallet; funds can only leave to destinations announced on-chain 24 hours in advance.
No. GASOLINU is a memecoin and the vault is not a fund. Holding the token gives you no claim on the USO the vault holds. What the vault does with its barrels — earn on them, and buy the token back with the proceeds — is the whole point, and it happens on-chain where you can watch it.
The launch wallet, and only it. The automated path — fees claimed, forwarded to the engine, put to work, harvested — can send funds nowhere except to a destination that was announced on-chain 24 hours in advance. Anyone may trigger those steps; nobody who triggers them decides where anything goes.
Nothing you have to take on faith — and nothing that pretends to. The launch wallet can withdraw; that is stated in the contracts' own documentation rather than hidden. What you get instead of a promise: verified source on both contracts, a public 24-hour delay on any new destination for the automated path, and this page reading the balances and every event live, so a withdrawal would be visible to everyone the moment it happened.
The engine spends vault USO on GASOLINU in the token's own pool, then pairs what it bought with more USO as liquidity in that same pool. Tokens leave the market and the pool gets deeper. The fees that liquidity earns flow back to the vault, so the loop feeds itself.
The engine compares the token's price with the barrels behind it. Trading well above that backing, it compounds: fees go back into the oil position to earn more. Trading close to it, it stockpiles barrels and buys back. The status at the top of this page is that decision, read from the contract.
Most tokens trade against a dollar. This one trades against a barrel — tokenized USO, the United States Oil Fund, issued on Robinhood Chain — so the pair side is a real asset with its own market, and the vault's yield comes from people trading oil, not from GASOLINU's own volume.
